We are now a multi-award-winning business based in Sutton Coldfield and the only UK manufacturer of hot tubs.

RotoSpa has made a splash in thousands of homes across the UK and is the industry-leading hot tub chosen by hire agents, retailers, a network of dealers, holiday let owners and more than 300 UK holiday parks. Today we use the same care and focus on our customers’ specific needs as the first hot tub we built nearly two decades ago.

RotoSpa Birmingham, the sister company of RotoSpa and their flagship dealer, is recruiting a Retail Sales Manager to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual who wants to take responsibility for optimising the profitability of the Retail Centre, whilst developing excellent customer relations.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, competent in prioritising duties, show attention to detail, able to work unsupervised, deliver excellent customer service and do simple day-to-day tasks brilliantly. A naturally enquiring manner is required with some managerial experience.

You’ll advise customers on the features and benefits of our products and water management. (Full training provided). Listen to their specific needs then guide them to the correct purchase. It’s important to have a flexible attitude to working hours to support the demand and seasonality of our business. Working one Saturday in four and offering sales support for events which on occasion is weekends.

You will be the face of Sutton Spas and as such should always strive for exceptional standards and quality of service.

Responsibilities and duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Develop strategies to meet sales targets
  • Generate deals and process orders
  • Maintain and develop relationships with customers
  • Liaise well with other sales and marketing staff
  • Use CRM platform effectively
  • Attend customer events
  • Analyse customer life cycle
  • Telesales/lead generation
  • Accountable for online chat
  • Use KPIs (reports) to drive continued improvement

Ideal candidates’ character, skills, experience and qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Direct sales experience and confidence in developing cold and warm leads
  • Able to identify sales opportunities and buying signals
  • Quick to establish positive relationships both internally & externally
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Professional telephone manner and not afraid to pick the phone up
  • Business acumen / an appreciation of the importance of profitability
  • Experienced using Meta Business Suite
  • Highly motivated, able to work unsupervised and driven to succeed
  • Ability to prioritise to ensure all tasks are completed to deadlines
  • Level 2/3 qualifications?
  • Full clean UK driving licence

Advantageous but not essential:

  • A creative thinker
  • Knowledge of the hot tub industry or water management
  • Skilled at strategic thinking or business planning via documented methods
  • Can drive marketing and social campaign creation alongside the marketing team

Salary: Realistic OTE of £40,000 pa with uncapped potential

Full-time, Permanent | Monday to Friday | 37.5 hours per week plus one Saturday per month | Office in Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield.
