Can I turn my spa off through winter?
Given the cold spells the UK can experience, spas that are full of water but have no power, or, spas that have been drained only by the drain valve are at risk of freezing and can result in burst pipes, damaged sensors and damaged components.
If you do wish to switch your spa off for winter we suggest booking a Winter Service with one of our professional engineers who will remove all water from the internal pipework and components to prevent the residual water freezing and resulting in costly repairs.
Alternatively you can simply turn the temperature down and for SpaNet systems you can set the sleep timer. With built in freeze protection you can be sure the spa will not freeze when powered up and full of water.
