The recent Climate Change COP meetings in the UK have continued to shine a deserved focus on, all of our energy use and sustainability.
It has also encouraged us to identify how we will work together to lower our carbon footprint and with it the earth’s temperature.
The RotoSpa team are continually looking at ideas on how we can give back to that which has made our business possible.
We decided as a team to not send Christmas Cards but to donated our project budget to the Woodland Trust UK.
This donation will go towards their three main charitable objectives, ‘To Create, Protect and Restore UK Woodland’.
RotoSpa have also already embraced a companywide culture of making weekly improvements to our sustainability. We have increased the amount of recycled material that we use in our spa shells, we have made changes that mean our spa shells are fully recyclable when they reach the end of their lifespan and all packaging from our supply chain is now fully recycled.
Our logistics department have hard targets on reducing CO2 emissions from our delivery schedule and we are embracing low polluting vehicles and even using biomass heat generation in our UK factory.
This year RotoSpa will continue to support the ‘Woodland Trust’ and encourage those around us to help similar projects keep our planet strong and healthy for the future generations.
